Timothy Williamson, one of the most influential and original contemporary philosophers, recently wrote a paper on objective modalities that seems to be an important contribution to the metaphysics of modalities. The paper was downloaded in a draft version from Academia.edu.  In this seminar we are going to discuss this paper, along with a couple of other texts which will help us putting Williamson's ideas and arguments in perspective. The reading list may vary in accordance with the directions our investigations will take.
